do you like my poem…………………?
the cars move although locked
chained in frozen ice blocks
captured in slow burning larva
hit with a racket to the wall
the aeroplane pretends to fly
only to crash in treeless gardens
the tire comes rolling around
only to drop before its wake
the ocean hits the mountain
destroying nothing but itself
although it tries to swim
the swan drowns in the bin
the nightmare closes to its end
awaken in the dreamless cage
broken legs of yellow hit outright
crushed straight to balls horns
the lion seeks its defenceless pray
charging through the full bucket
its eyes pretend not to see
as nightingale rises from stardust
the drunken mother weeps with crying wolf
taming all the blame it taro be someone else
ice cold love pulls the fever south
waste flushed through the sewer
the silent brother arks from pain
calling out to slithering ells
catch them if you can
wastefully escaping to the sock draw
i love it……..bye tommy

Your imagery is very dark and compelling, but you lose people with your elusiveness. Tell me what it is about. Let the cat out of the bag. If you tell me what you are writing about, I can tell you how to better create parallels between your emotional images and the actual occurrences that caused this beautifully dark poem.
